Sick Sick Sick

Sickness seems to be a trend in this house...... Last Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I was out of work because Brett was sick with a virus. Well guess who got it 4am Monday morning??? ME!! Ugh Ugh Ugh.
I actually posted on Facebook that I think dying would be easier than this beast!! Which rang true last night for sure, Hello 101.4 fever! Oh and yesterday at 3:45pm the daycare called..... oh yea.... "Mrs. Berry , Mallie is throwing up." GREAATTT! So the sick took care of the sick yesterday evening. But good news for Mallie she has been feeling great ever since we gave her some Zofran. Well I am going to get back to doing NOTHING.

Painting Extravaganza

Monday was a holiday as you know, well the kids daycare was open so of course the light bulb goes off....Ding! I can paint their rooms! If I would have known how my body would have ached 2 days after.... I probably would have only done 1 room.... well maybe... I dunno.... I can't decide. So at 8:30am my friend arrives to help me paint the rooms. (She willingly and knowingly knew what was in store) The rooms needed 2 coats on the walls and 2 coats on the trim > oil based trim >>so we had to use oil based primer (Kilz Odorless).  We took 1 hour for lunch and we finished the rooms at 4:45pm, just enough time for me to hop in the shower and go pick up the kids from daycare. No. Rest. At. All. I am exhausted thinking about it again! Anywho we painted both rooms the Benjamin Moore, Bunny Gray (color matched at Lowes in the Olympic No VOC). Now I am currently trying to decorate the rooms.

(in the picture it looks more taupe, but it really is a light grey and totally gorgeous)

~Hopefully we can get another chair so we have a set of 2~

(i dunno why this one looks so yellow, ewe!)

Goodies from IKEA!

As you already know I went on a crazy road trip to Atlanta (6 hour drive) to visit....

and....

Hallelujah!!!!!

Well here is what I got 1st from IKEA

Doggie Hooks

On the receipt it said .. Hook Ass ... hilarious!! I bought 2 red and 2 pink

Edland Chest with 2 Drawers..... swoon!

 These crome U-shaped Vika Moliden table legs

with this Vika Amon table top

(Which ended up being too small!!! UGH!!!)

I need some ideas for another table top that is at least 28" wide

I also got some of these Kassett Magazine boxes

and in

I also got the Helmer  drawer unit to go next to my desk

This Andrup Rug looks fabulous in my kitchen!!

Do not go to IKEA and expect to see everything in one day.
We arrived at IKEA at 12:45pm, ate lunch there then started our shopping and left at 8:30pm.
I do not reccommend this at all!

1. Do NOT go on a Saturday
2. Do not be in a rush
3. Do not linger in a section for too long bc your cart can and
will get full before you even get to the next one...
meaning >>>I didnt even make it past the 1st section and my buggy was packed. :0)

This is directed towards me for future reference, by the way ;0)
