Pedicures and a Camera
A sweet lady came over last night to give me a pedicure and boy was I spoiled!
She did the whole 9 yards.... scrub, lotion, foot and calf rub, & nail polish.
She even rubbed some massage oil on my shoulders and back.
Apparently Mallie was all jealous and wanted some action too.
Mommy and baby girl's painted toes :0)
Oh and my beloved camera arrived last night!!!!!! Whoo hoo!!!
I need to learn about this thing ASAP so when baby boy arrives I can have some great
pictures of him as a newborn
I was thinking about getting a camera strap cover from Etsy, what do you think?

Look at my sweet boy!!
He knows how to ride in style :0)
Hope ya'll have a Fantastic Friday!!

36 weeks and a Weekend Recap
Friday
Sonogram: Baby Boy is measuring 6lbs 4oz (which is perfect) and is looking great!
Doctor: I am still 1cm (booooo!) but if anything should happen (and hasn't so far) he is on call
Can you spot baby boy's squished face??
Saturday
Met up with my other pregnant friend Kirsten at Barnes and Nobles at 9:00am
Don't these look like the Penguin or Puffin classics that is all the rave?
Barnes and Nobles is selling them for $10.00 (which is cheap for these collector books)
Amazon sells them from $12.00 and up
I think I might buy 2 and start a collection for the kids
I checked out a new store called Libby Story and it had an Anthropologie feel to it. Even the prices were right along if not more expensive than Anthro. The style of clothing however was not me but the displays were really cool. Look at this yarn art!
I also checked out my beloved J Crew and low and behold a mannequin had my necklace on!
I checked the price and it was $45 ... Mine was $8 - Score!!
(Go back to picture of me drinking my latte and you'll see the same white necklace)
That evening Jordan and I relaxed to The Crackling Fireplace on Netflix
It was awesome.... we didn't have to worry about causing a fire , suffocation, or clean up.
And yes we have a fireplace to the left of the tree :0)
Sunday
It was FREEZING that morning (28 degrees) and Jordan helped set up Church.
After Church we napped and then I went back out shopping by myself
I bought 8 of these bowls from Anthropologie
(mine are lighter in color- but they don't show it on the website)
I am trying to change out our cheapie black dishes set that we bought when we first got married
(6 years ago) I loathe those black dishes!
I am on the hunt for some white everyday dishes to go with these bowls.
I returned a sequin top (that the hubs doesn't like) to The Loft and got these 2 items -both 50% off
(The dress is adorable in person- click on the link and you can zoom in on the dress)

I also bought this top from Ann Taylor the other day and forgot to tell you guys
(It was 50% off)

I also bought 2 chiffon dresses from Charming Charlie's but I will have to show you guys later since they don't sell stuff online.
My new camera should be here on Wednesday or Thursday yippee!!!
Raise your hand if you love having Christmas money!??!?!

Thursday Update and Scores
Baby Update
Well I seem to be doing pretty good today.
I had a great nights sleep and today I feel just really pregnant. Hah! It's like blizzard weather outside (without snow of course) so I would rather be in my plaid pj's sipping coffee curled on the couch.
Contractions are still coming on and off, but I don't think they are in any pattern.
Yay for my doctor appt and sonogram tomorrow! I am excited :0)
Kids
These two LOVE each other.... Yea there is always someone screaming over one of them taking a toy but I think they are two peas in a pod. So cute how they play with each other. Jordan and I are both only children so we have no idea what this is like. :0)
Ebay Scores
Do you remember I bought this necklace a couple weeks ago? Well it finally arrived and I must say I want more colors! haha! Oh and check out my earrings, they were a Christmas gift from my Mother-in-law. She was sneaky and bought these at the Premier Party she hosted right before Thanksgiving. Apparently a little birdie told her I was eyeing them :0)
They actually match my beloved Anniversary gift.
I also scored this J Crew Chambray shirt from Ebay for $30.00 (New w/tags)
*It is 78.00 on sale online- so I think I did good*
Oh and thanks to Christmas money I scored a new Sony A35 DSLR from Ebay
for $350- BOOYAH! Ok if you aren't aware of that price score then see what
Amazon prices it at here. Yea it's a $500-600 camera! I went back and forth offering prices to the seller and he finally agreed on $350. Sweetness! Now I just need Photoshop :0(

Etsy Score
I bought these cheesecloth's for my amateur newborn photo shoot I will be doing for baby boy.
I picked 3 for $15.00 - #5 green, #21 mint green & #12 coral
(coral is obviously not for him, but I have it for my friends who are having girls)

Art by Laurel Dawn
Here it is! Made just for me! Oh I am sooo excited!!
I should be receiving it any day now!
Have a Happy Thursday!

Sick Baby Girl
I am still tending to my sick little girl
Last night was aweful, she woke up crying for a tissue so I touched her skin and she was on fire literally.
Temp of 103.4 Whoa nelly!!!
She was shaking, could barely stand or talk. Thank the Lord I threw her in the bathtub (after a dose of Tylenol) ... a 2 minute sit in the bathtub lowered her temp 2 whole degrees.
(She was not happy to be in there, but she was a different child about 15 minutes afterward)
When in doubt throw them in a luke warm bath
So today we are once again having a movie marathon .... isn't that what everyone does anyway?

Midweek Tidbits
Well miss priss woke up this morning with a fever of 101.8, boooo!
So we have been watching movies all morning, we even passed out snuggled up together on the couch.
Anyway here are some random pics I had in my iPhone since Saturday
Saturday
Shopping trip to Target and a Birthday Party at a playground
Monday
The kids played dress up ... Mallie didn't even have to convince Brett to wear something....
he willingly put on the pink skirt hahaha
Tuesday
I stopped at Kroger for some lunch and spotted my baby a pineapple. I was like lets see how this compares to the baby in my belly.... let's just say no wonder I was in pain most of the day yesterday!
On a side note, I love this time of the year when Cliff bars come out with the seasonal flavors!
They are delicious!
She might be a star and have millions but seriously why these pants?!?!
Kanye has lost his mind if he thinks these look good
(even my husband was like granny pants)
Well back to Mallie's movie-a-thon I go....
Stay warm!

Friday Ramblings
Well it's been one of the longest/craziest work weeks ever.... but I did survive... somehow.
One thing is for sure, I thoroughly enjoy coming home every night to my sweeties :0)
The kids love having a Christmas tree in the living room. In fact the moment the kids get home they run over and fight to turn on the lights. It is also a challenge to keep the kids away from the tree in general. I did hang non-breakable ornaments on the bottom but somehow we have already had a couple casualties. I was like "It's ok Brett, I didn't even like that ornament" haha
Jordan was working last night and I was super exhausted so I put on my the kids
favorite movie -Tangled.
Mallie however started loving on Brett and giving him sugar and blowing on his belly while he was trying to watch the movie. He kept pushing her away and fussing at her. It was too funny.
On a side note I am thinking about getting a Sony A35 DSLR Camera with my Christmas money..

I talked with a local camera expert and this has a really fast shutter speed.
(like I really know what means)
He said it's the delay between when you hit the button and when it clicks.
It has a translucent mirror that makes it able to do it.
So it's perfect for kids who don't stay still! hahaha
Anyone own this camera? Or do you have other recommendations?
I know on Young House Love they use and love the Nikon D3200

Both were rated really well so I guess now its up to price point and suggestions.
Help!

Rainy Tuesday
Today I just feel extra large.... blah.
It's overcast and rainy as well so that could be a contributing factor to my blah-ness.
I am also covering for my co-worker all this week so I have been crazy busy at work.
Here are some pictures from the other night when we went to my office Christmas party
(The hubster took me to Charming Charlie's before the party, pic below)
And here we are at the party
My sweet mother-in-law obviously felt bad for me and has given me some money
to buy some maternity tops.
This morning it was either option A or option B and that's it for what I can wear, seriously.
I told ya'll yesterday I have outgrown even most of my maternity tops.... I apparently pop out more than other pregnant ladies.
Does is seem like all the cute clothes come out when your pregnant and can't wear any of it?
I have been upset that all of the colored denim is on sale and I can't buy any because I have no idea what size to get (post pregnancy).
I know I could probably guess, but skinny jeans are alot different than regular jeans. :0( booo
Any-hoo I am on the hunt for 3 tunics that can help me make it to the end of this 9 month journey but also can be worn after the baby. Jersey-knit anyone?
I'll let you know what I find.
Oh and Mallie turned 4 today! Happy Birthday Sweet Pea!
I think I am about to go make some hot chocolate with marshmallows
