This post is a little all over the place so bear with me and my preggo brain

Projects

Here is a picture of some of the pillows I finished the other day for my friend!
Love them and Love my fabric!

Kids

Mallie shared my hot cocoa the other night .... this child LOVES chocolate
I have even asked her 3 times what she wanted for her birthday and her reply was
 in a whisper voice....
"Chocolate"

When I went to check on Brett the other night this is how I found him.....
How in the world did he take off his footed pj's?!!?
He looks so skinny here too, but we just had his 2 year checkup & the doctor said he is
Tall and Skinny - go figure just like daddy!
(75th percentile for Height & 25th percentile for weight)

I went to Belk for some PJ's (Thanks to Mimi) for when I go to the hospital and I found some cute stuff!

Ralph Lauren Plaid PJ's not found online but they have them in the store

I really like this jacket (It's in the Juniors section)

I thought this dress was pretty as well

I thought Jordan might like one of these for Christmas... Heck even I want the hat :0)

I am starting to outgrow even my regular maternity clothes so I am on the hunt on for tunics/dresses that can easily be worn post-pregnancy as well.

Which tunic/dress is best?

I am favoring the one on the left because I think the neckline bothers me on the right

O Christmas Tree

OOOOOHH Christmas Tree , O Christmas Tree... how lovely are your branches....
Ok weird song I know,  but I totally performed some ballet just then back in the day to that song.

Christmas Decor was put up this past weekend and I tell you what every time I come home I get a smile on my face seeing the Christmas tree. I LOVE this time of year.

Both Mallie & Brett were born during the Christmas season and I put my tree up
both times I was 9 months pregnant....
*cough* even while on bed rest with Brett *cough cough*... I am dedicated what can I say ;0)

Has anyone heard Lou Rawls Christmas CD?
It's one of our classic CD's we listen too every year....
Merry Christmas Bayyy Bayyyy.... Yeaaaahhh! Yes I just broke out into song, HAH
Michael McDonald's is another, but we also like Pandora's Holiday station as well.
.......Baby it's cold outside..... ok I'll stop.... maybe ;0)

Ok enough chit chat and let me show you my Christmas Decor!

*I will post the wreath I made for my Mother-in-law as soon as I get a
picture, it's more fancy than this one*

Oh and one last thing.... let's not forget....

DIY Tomato Cage Tree

Supplies Needed for 1 Tree:

Tomato Cage (I used the 42 inch size)
Floral Wire
Garland (I used the soft kind from Walmart)
2- 100 count Mini Christmas Lights
Electrical Tape (I used what I had on hand)

1. Tape the ends to form a tree shape
(I only found blue electrical tape, oh well)

2. Take some floral wire and secure around the taped part
3. Starting at the bottom working your way up the top
Take the floral wire and secure at the base then pull it up to the next hoop and loop around, do the same for the next hoop part. When you come to the top, loop around the tape/floral wire then cut.
* I did a total of 6 wires running up*
I did these 2 steps because when I tried to wrap the garland around the cage without it, it looked just plain bad/weird trust me

4. Start at the bottom with the garland secure the end with some floral wire

5. Start wrapping all the way up to the top

hide your tape :0)

6. Now just add your lights
**Wrap from Top to Bottom so your plug is at the bottom
(When your done wrapping the lights you can adjust the garland to hide some of the cording)

TA DA!

Cost Breakdown:
Tomato Cage $2.98
Soft Garland $7.50
Floral Wire $1.50 (I had a 40% off coupon)
2 boxes 100 mini lights $6.00
Electrical Tape -free

=$17.98 a tree

Now that might seem steep to some people but if I were to stick these in some pots and make them topiaries then you could easily pay about $30-100 a tree if bought from a store.

So all in all I love my little trees and knowing I made them myself makes it even better :0)

Here are some other examples

You could skip the garland and just heavily wrap some lights around a tomato cage
(I wanted them to be pretty during the day as well so I went with the garland)

See here in pot

Or you could get all fancy schmancy like this lady did

Happy Tuesday
